Welcome aboard! The Salty Cruiser Affiliate Program rewards approved partners for sharing their love of cruising and introducing others to our cruise-inspired apparel and accessories.

By applying to and participating in the Salty Cruiser Affiliate Program, you agree to the following terms.

1. Eligibility & Approval

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• All applications are reviewed individually.
• Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
• You do not need a large social media following to apply.
• Applicants must provide accurate contact information and maintain a legitimate means of promoting Salty Cruiser.
• Salty Cruiser reserves the right to approve or decline applications based on program suitability.

2. Commissions & Customer Discounts

• Approved partners earn a 10% commission on qualifying referred purchases.
• Customers receive 10% off eligible purchases using an approved affiliate referral discount.
• Commissions are based on eligible merchandise subtotals, excluding shipping and taxes. Discounts, refunds, and other adjustments may affect commissionable amounts.
• Referral discounts generally cannot be combined with other product or order discounts.
• Individual commission arrangements may be offered to selected partners by written agreement.

3. Referral Links & Coupon Codes

Approved partners receive their own referral link and discount code for sharing Salty Cruiser products.

• Partners may request a preferred referral handle or coupon code, subject to availability and approval.
• Referral links and coupons must be used as authorized.
• Referral tracking generally uses a 30-day cookie, subject to browser settings, tracking restrictions, and technical limitations.
• Only purchases successfully attributed to an affiliate qualify for commissions.
• Self-referrals, fraudulent transactions, or efforts to manipulate tracking are prohibited.
• Partners may link to the storefront or individual products using their approved referral links.

4. Qualifying Sales & Adjustments

Commissions are subject to verification before becoming payable.

• Canceled, fraudulent, or fully refunded orders are not commissionable.
• Returns and partial refunds may reduce commissions.
• Duplicate, self-referred, or improperly attributed transactions may be excluded.
• Commission adjustments will be based on the underlying order records and applicable program rules.

5. Commission Payments

Commissions are paid manually through an approved payment method.

• Commissions become eligible for payment following order verification and applicable return or refund processing.
• Partners must provide accurate payment information and any legally required tax documentation.
• Partners are responsible for their own applicable taxes and reporting obligations.
• Payment discrepancies should be reported promptly so they can be reviewed.

6. Promotional Guidelines

We want our partners to share Salty Cruiser naturally and authentically. Whether you're posting cruise videos, sharing photos, or recommending merchandise to friends, your promotions should reflect your genuine opinions.

• All promotional claims must be accurate and truthful.
• Do not make misleading claims about cruise lines, products, discounts, or availability.
• Spam, fraudulent traffic, deceptive advertising, and unauthorized use of our brand are prohibited.
• Do not imply that Salty Cruiser is officially affiliated with or endorsed by a cruise line unless such a relationship has been expressly authorized.
• Paid advertisements using the Salty Cruiser name, coupon websites, or other special promotions require advance written approval.
• Partners may use approved promotional materials but may not impersonate Salty Cruiser or claim to be employees or authorized agents.

7. Affiliate Disclosures

Affiliates must clearly disclose their financial or other material relationship with Salty Cruiser when promoting or recommending our products.

An example of an appropriate disclosure is:

"I may earn a commission if you purchase through my Salty Cruiser link or discount code."

Disclosures must be clear, noticeable, and included with promotional content in accordance with applicable FTC guidance and platform rules.

If a partner receives complimentary or discounted merchandise, that relationship must also be disclosed when applicable.

8. Independent Relationship

Partners participate independently. This program does not establish an employer-employee relationship, franchise, joint venture, or legal partnership with Salty Cruiser.

Partners are responsible for their own promotional activities and related expenses unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Program Updates & Termination

• Salty Cruiser may update program terms, commission rates, or customer discounts with notice to affected partners.
• Commission-rate changes apply prospectively unless otherwise agreed.
• Accounts may be suspended or terminated for fraud, program violations, or other legitimate program-related reasons.
• Partners may request to leave the program at any time.
• Valid commissions earned before termination remain payable subject to verification, refunds, and applicable payment requirements.

10. Privacy & Contact

Affiliate application information is used to evaluate applicants and administer the program. Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
